July 4th Weekend

We had a great weekend. I ran speaker wire for the house. I stubbed all the wire in the crawl space for now. The crawl space was very wet. They had a lot of rain after the poly went down and before the sub-floor. That moisture has been trapped down there. I left the access panel off and Scott said he would open the crawl space vents (they were still covered by the insulation). I don't want mold growing.

Had dinner with Mike at his in-laws (they have a place about 35 miles from ours) and I went kayaking for the first time. I'm hooked.

Well not much else to report.

Death of a Potato Head

A tragic accident (police suspect foul play) happened out at the job site on July 3rd. Mr Potato Head was dancing on the wall and like Humpty Dumpty he took a great fall. I have posted pictures but I implore you to not view them if you will be upset by the graphic nature of these pictures.

July 3rd

We are on our way up north around 9 am. We will be running speaker wire today and deciding where we want lights etc (we meet with the electrician on Monday. When Deb talked to Scott yesterday he said he "was on the roof" which is a good sign.

I posted pictures (2) of my new kitchen wall cabinet.
