The 'cap' isn't made yet and the bottom 'skirt' needs to be trimmed.
The skirt (16 inches) at the bottom will trimmed with a cove type molding at the top and a shoe molding of some sort at the bottom - all trim will be in aromatic cedar for contrast.
The balusters are 1 1/2" by 1 3/4"
