Loft Floor

The loft floor is done. Needs sanding and varnishing and then I can trim. Deb and Jo did the entire floor - nice job ladies:)

The bar is ready to be tiled and the trim on the top needs to be varnished.

The ash is glued and nailed - there are no visible nail holes in the treads - thus the bizarre clamping system)

Deb and I are trying to blend Latin, north-woods and traditional decor. The stairs are a blend themselves. The treads are wood/traditional while the risers are pure south of the border. We will be using a dark grayish grout (taupe).

Apparently I need a safety course. Starting physical therapy today - as if I don't hurt enough. These pics are from March 3rd - 5 days after the mishap.
